DURANTE Coffee Table
A circular living table combining a selected marble top with a grounded solid wood leg chassis.
Design & Presence
The Durante Coffee Table is designed around the balance between a circular stone top and a sturdy wooden leg framework. With a 900mm diameter and a slightly elevated 500mm height, it sits comfortably between standard low coffee tables and higher occasional tables. This circular footprint softens the sharp geometry of angular sofas, keeping walkways clear while providing a steady, functional center for the living room.
The tabletop is formed from selected natural marble, paired with legs built from solid wood. To carry the heavy stone securely, the solid wood legs are locked together with traditional mortise-and-tenon joints, creating an interlocking timber base that evenly distributes downward weight. The timber is dried to balanced moisture levels to prevent joint loosening over time, while the stone top rests flush on the wood sub-frame.
In daily living, the 500mm height makes placing drinks, cups, and reading materials effortless from deeper lounge chairs. The honed marble handles daily living with ease, while the warm solid wood legs ground the piece visually. Finished with a protective matte coat, it is designed and custom-made by NICCHRIS in Malaysia for reliable daily use.

Cohesive Interior Curation
Durante is proportioned to serve central seating arrangements and relaxed lounge spaces. Consider pairing it with these complementary workshop pieces:
Vin Lounge Chair
The curved solid wood frame and arched backrest of the Vin Lounge Chair complement the round shape of the Durante table. The 500mm table height aligns naturally with the armrest height of the chair, creating a comfortable and accessible reading or conversation setting.
Cadiar Modular Sofa
The deep, generous seating cushions of the Cadiar Modular Sofa provide an expansive backdrop for the Durante table. The cool, distinct surface of the honed marble introduces a tactile contrast against the soft upholstery of the sectional, while the solid wood base provides visual warmth.
