HERIS Coffee Table
A low-profile coffee table defined by inset solid wood pedestal bases and continuous natural grain.
Design & Presence
The Heris Coffee Table is built around low proportions and grounded visual weight. Instead of using thin legs at the outer corners, the design brings the support inward with two rounded pedestal bases. This inset stance creates a subtle shadow underneath and makes the tabletop feel lighter than it is, giving the room a clean horizontal anchor without blocking visual sightlines across the floor.
Both the tabletop and the pedestal legs are built entirely from solid wood. We arrange the boards by hand to keep the natural grain running evenly across the wide surface, with soft radiuses along the edges to remove sharp corners. Underneath, traditional mortise-and-tenon joints lock the heavy pedestal components firmly together, paired with expansion fasteners that allow the natural solid timber to breathe through seasonal humidity shifts without warping.
In daily use, the low table surface keeps everyday items within easy reach from a sofa or lounge chair. The smooth, matte finish protects the wood against spills while preserving the warmth of natural wood grain beneath your hands. Designed and custom-made by NICCHRIS in Malaysia, it is built to hold its place in your living room for years to come.

Cohesive Interior Curation
Heris is proportioned to anchor low seating groups and open-plan living rooms. Consider pairing it with these complementary workshop pieces:
Vin Lounge Chair
The arched solid wood back and sculpted arm contours of the Vin Lounge Chair introduce gentle vertical curves that sit comfortably alongside the low, flat horizon of the Heris table. The shared solid wood materiality connects the two pieces without matching them too rigidly.
Crate Console Table
Placed along a nearby perimeter wall, the Crate Console introduces slender legs and open linear spacing. This creates an intentional contrast against the solid, inward pedestal mass of the Heris table, keeping the broader room visually balanced.
