FOREST BUTTON Bench
An Authorial Study in Tufted Topography, Parametric Joinery & Wood Carcass Craftsmanship
Forest Button Bench | Tufted Upholstered Bench Malaysia – NICCHRIS
Classic Button Tufting, Reimagined.
A Familiar Detail with a Different Character
The Forest Button Bench by NICCHRIS takes inspiration from traditional button-tufted furniture, giving it a sharper, more contemporary appearance.
Its elongated seat features a grid of deep-set buttons that creates gentle folds across the upholstery. The pattern adds depth to an otherwise straightforward shape, making the seating surface the first thing you notice.
Unlike conventional tufted benches with ornate frames, Forest Button keeps its construction uncomplicated, allowing the upholstery and wooden legs to share the attention.
The Details Make the Difference
The button tufting gives Forest Button its personality. Each recessed point draws the fabric inward, forming a repeating pattern of softly raised sections across the seat.
Beneath it, the exposed wooden frame extends into four outward-angled legs. Their broad upper sections gradually narrow towards the floor, creating an interesting contrast with the thick, padded seat.
The open space underneath also gives the bench a lighter appearance than designs with fully enclosed bases.
Traditional Influence, Contemporary Appeal
Button-tufted furniture is often associated with classic interiors, but Forest Button takes a different approach.
Its straightforward shape and angled wooden legs make it easy to introduce alongside furniture from different periods.
Use it at the foot of a bed, in a dressing area or as an occasional seat. Its long, backless form provides seating without creating a visual barrier.
Custom-Made Forest Button Bench in Malaysia
The Forest Button Bench offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional upholstered bench, combining the familiarity of button tufting with a more contemporary wooden structure.
With upholstery and wood stain options available, it can be personalised while retaining the details that define its design.

Material Authenticity & Engineering Authority
Wood Carcass with Foundational Solid Wood Base
Constructed with a heavy-duty internal wood carcass for planar seat integrity, grounded upon an architectural base sculpted from select solid wood. Controlled dehumidification seasoning neutralizes internal material stresses to prevent frame deflection across air-conditioned living spaces.
Parametric Joinery & Skeletal Anchorage
Forest Button’s internal frame utilizes parametric joinery routines to calculate load paths across linear bench spans and base connection points. Interlocking internal corner blocks and high-tensile torque anchor plates permanently eliminate frame flex, racking, and squeaks.
Multi-Density Cold-Cured Cushioning & Button Tufting
Cold-cured foam cores enveloped in breathable Dacron batting yield an immediate yielding surface contact, while deep-drawn button tufts stabilize the upholstery layer against depression, pooling, or core fatigue over years of daily enjoyment.
Artisanal Tailoring in Fabric & Premium Fabric
Panels are hand-tailored with micro-stitch precision along architectural seams. Available in standard designer fabrics or premium textured weaves that resist fabric pooling and age gracefully over time.
Architectural Spatial Versatility
Forest Button is engineered for interior architects, spatial stylists, and discerning homeowners curating environments defined by material authority and understated luxury. Positioned at the foot of an architectural platform bed, lining an art gallery corridor, or framing expansive picture windows, its low-profile silhouette maintains uninterrupted sightlines throughout the interior. Every bench is custom made to commission in Malaysia, accommodating bespoke linear dimensions, custom wood timber stains, and tailored fabric specifications.
