Design Provenance: The Calm of Curved Timber Architecture

Conceived within the NICCHRIS ORIGIN studio, the Kathy Sideboard explores the harmonious tension between solid structural mass and welcoming, organic softness. By replacing severe rectilinear corners with seamless, lathe-radiused timber pillars, Kathy allows light to cascade smoothly across its front face. Handcrafted from hand-selected wood, its authorial silhouette highlights unbroken grain patterns and subtle metallic edge pulls, bringing quiet poise to curated interiors.

Seamless Curved Transitions

Solid ash corner columns milled and hand-smoothed to a flawless radius, allowing natural cathedral wood grain to wrap effortlessly around the carcass.

Artisanal Material Interplay

Balances the dense, warm tactility of solid hardwood with brushed brass edge pulls and an optional natural marble top to evoke quiet luxury.

MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
Solid wood, ash veneer and rattan each possess their own unique character. Variations in grain, colour, tone, veining, weave and texture are inherent to these materials, giving each piece its own individual character.

COLOUR VARIATION
Timber and natural rattan may vary slightly in colour, tone, grain, veining and texture from piece to piece and between production batches. Additional pieces may therefore vary slightly from previous orders.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
Clean gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Wipe spills promptly and avoid harsh, abrasive or alcohol-based cleaning products. Keep natural rattan away from excessive moisture. Clean the brushed gold handle with a soft, dry cloth and, where suitable, apply a small amount of Autosol occasionally to help maintain its shine and lustre.

SELF-COLLECTION
For self-collection or collection by a third-party transporter, responsibility for the furniture transfers upon collection from our premises.

As our furniture is made and finished to order, all confirmed orders are considered final and are not eligible for return, refund or exchange.
