MOOI TV Cabinet
An Authorial Study in Low-Slung Media Horizontals, Natural Veneer Craft & Tectonic Stability
Design Provenance: Continental Gravity & Architectural Media
Conceived and Designed by NICCHRIS as an authorial focal piece within the NICCHRIS ORIGIN collection, the MOOI TV Cabinet translates the monumental architectural restraint of Milanese contemporary design through the refined art of timber veneering. Built upon an unyielding, high-density cross-laminated plywood chassis clad in rich natural wood veneer, Mooi pairs an expansive low-profile media top with a monolithic handleless front plane. Every junction represents a calibrated study in equilibrium delivering bold visual presence while ensuring sweeping sightlines across the private living salon remain fluid and serene.
Sequence-Matched Natural Veneer
Front door and drawer surfaces feature consecutive natural timber flitches, showcasing continuous horizontal cathedral grain flow across the entire cabinet length.
Engineered Plywood Core
High-density structural multi-ply substrate provides lifetime planar integrity, eliminating the risk of door face cupping, bowing, or binding across seasonal humidity changes.
The Signature Aesthetic
As an integral expression of the NICCHRIS ORIGIN series, the Mooi TV Cabinet is created for architects, interior stylists, and discerning homeowners curating environments that rival the pinnacle of European contemporary design. Calibrated to host monumental OLED television displays, high-end soundbars, and private media accessories, its natural wood veneer matures gracefully over generations developing an authentic patina that deepens through years of family living.
