The Vin Lounge Chair by NICCHRIS takes a more restrained approach to wooden lounge seating. Its clean proportions, exposed timber frame, and neatly upholstered seat give it a structured appearance that feels equally appropriate in a living room or a private study.
Much of Vin's character comes from its armrests. They extend forward with a gently tapered profile, supported by slender wooden legs that keep the sides of the chair open. Small openings along the backrest frame introduce an interesting detail, allowing the woodwork to be appreciated beyond its overall silhouette.
Unlike lounge chairs with oversized, loose cushions, Vin features a neatly upholstered seat and backrest that follow the proportions of its wooden frame. The broad seat provides generous seating space, while the upright backrest gives the chair a more structured seating position. The internal seat and backrest incorporate cold-cured foam cores enveloped in breathable Dacron batting. Delivers an immediate supple touch followed by progressive spinal support that prevents seat depression over years of daily enjoyment.
Hand-Rubbed Open-Pore Protective Sealants
Sealed by hand with an ultra-matte, low-sheen protective formulation. The breathable coating penetrates deep into the wood pores to shield against spills while keeping the authentic timber grain open to the touch, developing a rich patina over time.
