An Armchair That Feels Like Its Own Little Space
Some chairs are designed to sit openly within a room. The Bally Lounge Chair by NICCHRIS takes a different approach, with a high, rounded back that curves forward to surround the seat, creating a more personal and enclosed place to sit.
The backrest and armrests are formed as one continuous piece, giving Bally its distinctive, embracing shape. The generously sized seat sits within this curved structure, while the open space beneath creates a subtle separation between the seating area and the floor.
Bally is particularly interesting when paired with furniture that has straighter lines. Against a rectangular sofa, wooden coffee table, or simple wall panels, its rounded shape introduces a softer outline that changes the overall arrangement. Rather than matching every piece of furniture, Bally brings a different shape into the room.
Upholstery also plays an important role in how Bally fits into a space. In olive green, as pictured, it introduces an earthy colour that works naturally alongside beige sofas, warm timber, and neutral interiors. For those who prefer a quieter look, a more neutral fabric would allow the chair's curved shape to become the main feature.

Internal stress nodes are calculated using parametric scripting to optimize load transfer. Reinforced with interlocking corner blocks, internal tensile web braces, and torque plates to permanently eliminate frame flex, wobble, and squeaks.
Multi-Density Cold-Cured Ergonomic Core
Cold-cured foam cores wrapped in breathable Dacron batting yield an immediate supple surface embrace, followed by progressive lumbar support that prevents seat depression over years of daily enjoyment.
Master Artisan Tailoring & Protective Living Sealants
Seams are hand-tailored with micro-stitch precision along compound radiuses.
