The Button Barstool introduces disciplined geometry and honest timber craftsmanship to modern kitchen islands and elevated counter bars. Offered in both kitchen counter (650mm) and commercial bar (750mm) seat heights, its compact, backless footprint slides fully beneath counter overhangs, keeping kitchen circulation paths clear and open sightlines intact across open-plan interiors.
The stool is crafted entirely from solid wood across every component, from its circular timber seat to its tapered legs. The solid wood legs flare subtly toward the floor for grounded stability, anchored by integrated four-sided timber footrest stretchers locked with traditional mortise-and-tenon joints. This perimeter bracing creates a rigid, wobble-free foundation designed to withstand daily hospitality while offering an ergonomic foot perch.
The turned circular solid wood seat features softened, hand-eased perimeter arrises and a subtle concave contour that eliminates thigh pressure during quick breakfasts and evening drinks. Sealed with a durable matte protective coating, the timber resists moisture, food spills, and handling scuffs while honoring the organic grain texture beneath. Conceived, resolved, and custom-made by NICCHRIS in Malaysia, the Button barstool introduces quiet artisanal refinement to elevated seating.
