The first thing you notice is its unusually broad backrest. It flares outward at the top before narrowing towards the seat, creating a shape that almost resembles a pair of wings. Instead of conventional armrests, the sides remain completely open, allowing the backrest to become the chair's defining feature. The generous seat sits on four angled wooden legs, giving Alila a slightly nostalgic character without making it look dated.

What makes Alila particularly interesting is its ability to bring a different design era into a contemporary home.
