The Baroque Lounge Chair by NICCHRIS draws attention to the beauty of curved woodwork. Its most distinctive feature is the sweeping wooden armrests, which rise from the front of the chair before curving towards the backrest. Rather than following the straight lines of a conventional armchair, Baroque introduces a more expressive shape through the natural movement of its timber frame.
Look closely at how the armrests connect to the legs. The wood changes direction through a series of gentle curves, creating an almost continuous line along the sides of the chair. These details give Baroque its recognisable appearance, while the slim wooden legs keep the overall design from looking too heavy.
