BELLY Rattan Dining ARMChair
An architectural solid wood dining chair defined by an enveloping barrel backrest, hand-tensioned natural cane webbing, and a tailored cushioned seat.
The Belly Rattan Dining Armchair brings a relaxed elegance to the dining table, with a curved wooden backrest that wraps gently around the body. Its woven rattan panel follows the same sweeping shape, creating an open, airy design with a beautiful sense of movement.
Unlike conventional dining chairs with separate armrests, Belly's backrest extends around the sides, offering a more embracing seating experience. The upholstered seat adds comfort, while the slender, angled wooden legs keep the overall silhouette light.
Belly is an excellent choice for homeowners who appreciate mid-century modern, Japandi and contemporary tropical interiors. Its curved profile works particularly well with round and oval dining tables, softening the arrangement without sacrificing character.
For those searching for a rattan dining chair in Malaysia, Belly offers a distinctive combination of woven cane, sculptural woodwork and comfortable upholstered seating.
Made to order in Malaysia by NICCHRIS, with upholstery and wood stain options available.

Cohesive Interior Curation
Belly is proportioned to accompany contemporary solid wood dining tables, bright veranda dining areas, and open-plan dining rooms. Consider pairing it with these complementary workshop pieces:
Woo Dining Table
The Woo Dining Table features softened rectangular contours and substantial solid wood legs. Pairing it with the curved barrel profile and woven cane backrest of the Belly Dining Chair establishes an organic dialogue between rounded solid timber geometry and light-filtering woven craft.
Buddy Sideboard
Serving as a functional dining room credenza or buffet, the Buddy Sideboard features disciplined solid wood casework and pillowed arrises. Placing it along the perimeter wall grounds the dining room while allowing the open cane texture of the Belly Dining Chairs to shine around the dining table.
