Design & Presence
The Jovet Arm Dining Chair is defined by its compact stance, integrated armrests, and continuous curved backrest. Proportioned at 570mm wide by 540mm deep with an 840mm total height, its balanced silhouette introduces refined posture to residential dining rooms. The low-slung, sculpted arms taper gently forward, offering forearm support without creating visual bulk around the table perimeter or blocking sightlines across open dining areas.
The load-bearing framework is constructed entirely from solid wood. Each timber section is hand-selected and grain-aligned to withstand repetitive downward and lateral forces across daily meals. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joints interlock the rear leg uprights, seat apron, and curved crest rail into a rigid chassis that prevents racking over years of use. Slotted expansion fittings beneath the seat frame allow the solid timber to move naturally with seasonal humidity changes.
In everyday dining, the supportive curved back panel and high-density upholstered seat provide lasting comfort through extended evening gatherings. The hand-eased solid wood edges feel smooth and tactile when sliding the chair in and out, while the matte protective finish guards against daily handling marks and spills.
