The Nico Rattan Barstool with Fixed Cushion brings warm organic texture and supportive comfort to contemporary kitchen islands and elevated counter bars. Available in kitchen counter (650mm) and commercial bar (750mm) seat heights, its disciplined footprint slides easily beneath counter overhangs, preserving open walkway circulation across open-plan living areas.
The chassis is built entirely from structural solid wood. Slender timber legs taper toward the floor, braced by integrated four-sided footrest stretchers joined with traditional mortise-and-tenon craftsmanship. This perimeter bracing provides a comfortable perch for the feet while preventing lateral frame racking, ensuring a wobble-free foundation designed for daily hospitality.
A hand-woven natural rattan backrest yields gently to support the spine with cooling breathability, while the fixed seat cushion—upholstered over high-resilience foam—delivers plush pressure relief during extended morning breakfasts and evening drinks. Sealed with a durable matte protective finish, the wood preserves its tactile grain against moisture and handling marks.
