Conceived within the NICCHRIS ORIGIN studio, the Umi Barstool translates the poetic rhythm of ocean swells (*Umi*) into structural timber form. Elevated high seating often risks visual harshness; by introducing sweeping radial transitions and a gently carved saddle contour, Umi achieves complete visual tranquility. Hand-detailed from full solid ash wood, each stool celebrates the unadorned beauty of honest woodworking and continuous grain lines.

Sculptured Wave Seat

Precision-milled and hand-finished from solid timber stock, the seat pan features an organic double-curvature profile that balances comfort with architectural beauty.

Artisanal Joint Integrity

Concealed timber mortise-and-tenon joints hand-smoothed at all intersections, celebrating traditional woodworking methods elevated for contemporary collectors.
