Design & Presence
The Bilot Barstool brings tailored cushioned comfort and architectural timber presence to contemporary kitchen islands and elevated counter spaces. Offered in both kitchen counter (650mm) and commercial bar (750mm) seat heights, its compact profile slips smoothly beneath counter overhangs, preserving open circulation and clean sightlines throughout open-plan kitchen and dining zones.
The supporting base is constructed entirely from solid wood. Structural timber legs taper subtly toward the floor, braced by integrated four-sided footrest stretchers joined using traditional mortise-and-tenon methods. This reinforced perimeter provides a steady resting point for feet while locking the leg assembly into a rigid framework that prevents frame racking and joint fatigue over years of daily hospitality.
A generous high-resilience foam cushion is tailored in premium fabric or leather upholstery, delivering plush pressure relief during extended morning breakfasts and evening drinks. Finished with a durable matte protective coating on the solid wood legs, the frame repels moisture and handling marks while keeping the tactile timber grain intact. Conceived, resolved, and custom-made by NICCHRIS in Malaysia, the Bilot barstool delivers quiet refinement to elevated dining.
