Design & Presence
The Geek Coffee Table is shaped around a soft oval silhouette and balanced proportions. Resting at a comfortable 400mm height with a 1200mm by 550mm footprint, its rounded profile introduces gentle curves into living rooms framed by linear architecture. The elongated oval top provides a functional center without sharp corners protruding into walking paths, allowing easy circulation around sofas and lounge chairs.
The tabletop is constructed from an engineered wood substrate finished in natural timber veneer, paired with legs sculpted from solid wood to achieve the continuous curved base. Using a stable core surfaced with wood veneer keeps the broad oval top completely flat and resistant to warping through seasonal changes in humidity. Beneath, the curved solid wood legs are united with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery, creating a rigid interlocking frame that supports daily weight with lasting stability.
In daily use, the elongated surface keeps drinks, books, and trays within easy reach from surrounding seats. The smooth matte finish shields the timber from daily spills and marks while preserving the authentic, warm texture of the wood grain under your hands. Conceived and custom-made by NICCHRIS in Malaysia, the Geek table offers a calm, reliable foundation for modern domestic spaces.
