HANS Upholstered Steel Barstool
An architectural barstool defined by a tailored upholstered backrest and seat, an integrated steel footrest, and a precision steel frame.
Design & Presence
The Hans Barstool brings crisp modern lines and tailored cushioned comfort to contemporary kitchen islands and elevated counter bars. Offered in both kitchen counter (650mm) and commercial bar (750mm) seat heights, its slender metal profile slides easily beneath counter overhangs, preserving open circulation paths and clear sightlines throughout modern interiors.
The foundation is engineered from precision steel tubing, welded into a continuous structural frame that delivers uncompromising stability with minimal visual bulk. An integrated welded steel footrest stretcher braces the legs against lateral sway while providing an ergonomic resting point for feet during extended seating.
Both the gently curved backrest and generous seat cushion are wrapped in high-resilience foam and tailored in premium fabric or leather upholstery, relieving pressure points during morning meals and evening gatherings. Finished in a durable matte powder coat that resists scratches and wear, the steel frame is engineered for longevity. Conceived, resolved, and custom-made by NICCHRIS in Malaysia, the Hans barstool introduces refined architectural craft to elevated dining.
