HASU Dining Table
An Authorial Study in Monolithic Gravity, Floating Proportions & Solid Wood Artistry
Part of the NICCHRIS ORIGIN collection, the Hasu Dining Table brings a distinctive character to the dining room through its sculptural design and carefully considered proportions. Its generous tabletop is supported by a beautifully shaped central pedestal, creating a striking centrepiece that feels both elegant and inviting.
The defining feature of Hasu is its rounded pedestal, which narrows towards the bottom before meeting a circular base. This unusual shape gives the table its own personality while providing generous legroom and allowing dining chairs to be arranged comfortably around it.
Crafted from solid wood, Hasu combines the warmth of natural timber with a contemporary design inspired by modern Italian furniture. Its sculptural form works particularly well in modern minimalist, mid-century modern, and contemporary dining spaces, adding visual interest without overwhelming the room.
Designed and made to order in Malaysia by NICCHRIS, the Hasu Dining Table reflects the brand's approach to furniture that is both beautiful to look at and practical to live with.
Floating Chamfered Profile
A continuous under-bevel edge relieves visual heft from the thick solid timber slab, creating a floating silhouette that remains inviting and soft to the touch.
Integrated Expansion Engineering
Equipped with concealed internal sub-frame expansion slots and steel stiffeners, accommodating natural climate breathability without warp, cupping, or surface checks.
The Signature Aesthetic
The Hasu Dining Table stands out with its distinctive sculptural pedestal, setting it apart from conventional dining tables. Its rounded wooden leg features a beautifully tapered form, narrowing towards the base before resting on a circular foundation. This unexpected combination of curves and proportions gives Hasu a unique character, making it just as much a statement piece as a functional dining table. The central pedestal also provides generous legroom, allowing chairs to be arranged comfortably around the table. Its bold yet refined design makes Hasu an appealing choice for contemporary dining spaces that appreciate furniture with individuality.
