Design & Presence
The Senclock Breakfast Table introduces architectural warmth and grounded proportions to modern kitchen islands and informal dining spaces. Proportioned at 1800mm long by 850mm wide with a standard 900mm counter height, its elevated format accommodates four to six diners comfortably while maintaining clear walkway passage throughout high-traffic open-plan kitchens.
The foundation centers on sculptural solid timber legs reminiscent of an hourglass silhouette. To provide unyielding lateral stability without adding low-slung stretchers that restrict leg movement, heavy-gauge structural metal support plates interlock the timber legs directly into the under-chassis. This reinforcement distributes downward pressure evenly and eliminates frame sway during lively morning meals.
The tabletop is assembled from hand-selected solid wood planks, grain-matched across the surface and stabilized by slotted underside expansion fixings to accommodate seasonal humidity shifts. Hand-eased perimeter arrises provide comfortable forearm support, while a durable matte protective finish repels spills and daily wear. Conceived, resolved, and custom-made in Malaysia by NICCHRIS, the Senclock table offers enduring craftsmanship for contemporary homes.
