Relaxed Upholstery with an Unexpected Sense of Movement
The Aciba Lounge Chair by NICCHRIS takes a different approach to upholstered seating. Rather than keeping every surface smooth and tightly fitted, Aciba features gathered upholstery along the backrest, creating soft folds that give the chair a relaxed, lived-in character.
Its most interesting feature is the way the backrest extends outward into gently raised armrests. The edges have a slightly irregular, folded appearance, almost as though the upholstery has been draped over the chair rather than shaped into a conventional frame. In contrast, the seat remains broad and neatly defined, while slim metal legs support the upholstered body.
Aciba is particularly appealing to homeowners who prefer furniture with a little more personality. Its warm orange upholstery introduces colour into a room, while the folds and curved edges prevent the design from appearing too formal.
In a living room with neutral sofas, natural wood furniture, or understated interiors, Aciba can provide a welcome contrast.
