Rather than having the low, reclined profile often associated with lounge chairs, Barcelona features a taller backrest, a rounded seat, and a gently shaped upholstered body that gives it a more upright appearance.
One of Barcelona's defining details is how the backrest gradually narrows towards the seat, while the armrests curve forward to follow the body's natural seating position. The upholstery forms a smooth, continuous outline, with a separate seat cushion adding depth to the design. Beneath the upholstered body, slender wooden legs provide a visible contrast to its fuller upper section.
