Design & Presence
The Milo Dining Chair is proportioned for clean spatial efficiency, measuring 480mm wide by 470mm deep with an 800mm backrest height. Its upright, armless stance slides completely beneath dining tabletops, leaving surrounding circulation paths clear in compact apartments and busy open-plan living rooms. The gently curved solid wood crest rail supports the thoracic spine while maintaining a low visual profile that prevents visual congestion along the dining perimeter.
The load-bearing chassis is constructed entirely from solid wood. Hand-selected timber sections are grain-matched across the curved backrest, rear stiles, and tapered legs to resist lateral racking from repetitive daily seating. Traditional mortise-and-tenon joints unite the frame into a rigid, durable chassis. Internal expansion relief fittings secure the seat foundation, giving the solid timber room to adjust naturally across seasonal humidity shifts.
In daily dining, the resilient cushioned seat provides lasting comfort across morning routines and evening family dinners. Hand-eased perimeter arrises feel tactile and smooth underhand when pulling the chair forward, protected by a durable matte finish that repels spills and handling marks.
