Design & Presence
The Spaceship Breakfast Table brings sculptural weight and futuristic architectural presence to modern kitchen islands and morning dining spaces. Elevated to counter height (900mm), its streamlined aerodynamic profile provides generous knee clearance and fluid movement, slipping comfortably into open-plan breakfast nooks without impeding circulation.
The tabletop is cut from a substantial slab of natural marble, hand-selected for its subtle mineral veining and refined surface character. Directly beneath the stone, a concealed heavy-gauge steel support plate spans the underside. This engineered sub-chassis absorbs flexural stress, eliminates cantilever deflection, and mechanically anchors the heavy stone slab securely into the central pedestal framework.
The sculpted base is constructed from an engineered wood carcass formed into fluid, organic curves and wrapped seamlessly in premium timber veneer. Sealed with a durable matte protective coating against moisture, food spills, and daily scuffs, the finish highlights the warmth of the natural wood grain. Conceived, resolved, and custom-made in Malaysia by NICCHRIS, the Spaceship table combines raw stone and honest woodwork into a modern focal point.
